What Are Corsi-Rosenthal Boxes?
Breathe Easy Fort Morgan educates communities on Corsi-Rosenthal boxes, a type of DIY air filter that can clean homes of smoke, allergens, and even viruses.
Materials for a Corsi-Rosenthal box include duct tape, MERV 13 filters (though these filters can be substituted for lower-rated versions), duct tape, scissors, and a box fan. They are easy to assemble and less expensive than commercial air filters. This diagram shows the assembly instructions.
Corsi-Rosenthal boxes were invented by Richard Corsi and Jim Rosenthal in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Find more information on the Corsi-Rosenthal foundation at https://corsirosenthalfoundation.org/.
